hi i have a 19 x model phillips monitor. phillips say its not theres and was produced under license and hence cannot help. it keeps switching to standby mode. no real pattern but tends to do it after a minute or so. you can then turn it on and it then switches to standby again. am loathed to bin it and would like to get it repaired if economical enough. i am in kempshot so local. please let me know if you can perhaps help. regards james.

hi,i own a clevo m860tu/sager np8662 and it does not start (black screen). i have determined that it`s not a backlight issue and think it may be due to the motherboard.if it is a motherboard issue would you be more likely to try and repair the motherboard itself or would you be more inclined to just replace it?hope you can help.
